There comes a point when a body of work outgrows the place where it started.
Over the past few years, my writing here shifted from talking about life and work, content and web marketing, entrepreneurship, and e-commerce. For those purposes, KimVallee.com served me well. More recently, it helped me find my voice as I developed my perspective around everyday urbanism.
It’s clear now that the relationship between urban design and everyday life captivates me. I’m referring to the space outside your front door, the cafés where friendships form, the sidewalks we avoid, and the benches we wish existed as we walk. The places that quietly shape how we feel, move, connect, and live.
That content deserved its own home. That’s why I created a proper website for it called More Than Streets.
More Than Streets is a platform that shows how cities feel and work in real life. From housing that supports your lifestyle and shared spaces that foster connection to neighbourhoods designed to make daily life easier, you’ll start to notice what makes a place truly work.
KimVallee.com will always remain part of my story. But, much like At Home with Kim Vallée before it, this chapter has come to an end. More Than Streets represents where my curiosity, energy, and sense of purpose are leading me now.
Because cities are never just about streets. They shape how your days unfold, every single day.
I hope you’ll follow me there.
